ABOUT THE TEACHER
This is my seventh year as the Culinary Arts I and II teacher at Mifflin County High School. I moved to central PA from the Pittsburgh area, graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science: Family and Consumer Sciences Education and a minor in Nutrition.
During my time at IUP, I studied in Valladolid, Spain at the International School of Culinary Arts (EIC). I have a large family who instilled in me a love of travel, food, and family bonding around the kitchen table.
Now in Mifflin County, I love teaching food and culture in the Culinary Arts room and seeing each student learn and create in their kitchens.
I continued my education through Wilkes University and have a masters degree in Educational Development Strategies.
