Winners of Mifflin County High School Farm to Table Microgreen Challenge (Culinary Arts I and Ecology Students) got to tour a local Farm to Table Restaurant. Students learned more about the life of farmers, restaurant owners, and how to can/pickle different vegetables to be used year round. Through their experience they now understand how sustainability can help our environment and produce some pretty tasty eats!!
