Making tortillas was A-MAIZE-ING!


The Culinary Arts II classes invited Mrs. Czankner's Spanish I and II students down to the room to learn together the art of homemade corn tortilla making! Students mixed up their dough using Masa (ground corn meal), water, and salt. Then they used authentic tortilla presses to flatten the dough. The last part (and every students favorite) was cooking the tortillas and stuffing them with cheese!! ¡¡Quesadillas son MUY DELICIOSAS!!
